Cesky Fousek

Must Try

Frank James
I love the outdoors and enjoy delving into history topics! Go Broncos!

The Cesky Fousek is a dog with a short bushy tail, wirehair and a mustache from the Czech Republic.

Cesky Fouseks are also sleek hunting dogs. People use them as adept game detectors and retrievers. Often mixed with various brown, white and orange markings, they look like Siamese cats. People call the breed a pointing dog because its muzzle points in the right direction for the hunt.

Grooming

Cesky Fousek sheds a lot, and you need to brush at least once or twice a week. You should brush his coat with a regular comb for safety, but you can use your fingers to groom the loose hair off if it is too much. A handy tip for keeping your dog clean and spending less time in the tub is washing them regularly.

Some other ways to do this are to brush their teeth at least once per week, cut their fingernails at most once a month, and clean their ears monthly. If you bathe your pup before your big adventures, make sure that they are completely dry before embarking.

Size and Weight

Cesky Fousek is a medium-to-large breed of dog that is usually muscular. The average weight of the male is greater than that of the female.

Character and behavior

Cesky Fousek has a likable personality. They balance intelligence and obedience with stubbornness, which makes them reliable companions for many people. The most important thing to remember about hunting dogs is that they need to be trained and socialized from a young age.

Training

The Cesky Fousek is an intelligent dog that needs guidance and lots of love to be the best. After some time and training, they’ll learn to do different tricks and the right thing in any situation. After a while, you will see that they share an unusually intellectual mind with their owner. They are helpers for owners, but they are also very athletic. It makes them great pets to play games together.

Health Issues

Hearing tests are also a good idea since they can detect hearing loss early. In addition, the Cesky Fousek breed is more likely to develop hip dysplasia, chronic skin conditions and eye problems.
